Anything with a clear subject — the two of you, your wedding photo, your dog, a name or a date. Busy backgrounds don't project well, so simple is better. If yours won't work, we'll tell you before we make it.

No. It takes about a minute: peel the backing, press it under the door, and stick the small magnet on the door frame. No tools, no wiring, no drilling.
